Exceptional Work and Customer Service
I recently brought my 2015 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited to Total Recon for an extensive reconditioning project, including paint correction, ceramic protection, interior detailing and upholstery work on the center console and door armrests. I could not be happier with the finished result.
The owners, Tom and Laura were excellent to work with from the beginning. What I especially appreciated was their honesty. Rather than simply trying to sell me additional services, they listened to what I wanted to accomplish with the car and gave me straightforward recommendations about what was worth doing. Their communication and customer service throughout the process were outstanding.
Eddie managed the work on my Avalon and spent considerable time listening to my specific concerns and the level of detail I was looking for. He made sure his team understood my expectations and followed through on them. The technician who performed the actual work did an exceptional job. The attention to detail throughout the exterior, interior, engine compartment and trunk was impressive.
The paint on this 11-year-old Avalon now has tremendous depth and gloss, the interior looks refreshed, and the new upholstery work integrates beautifully with the original interior. The car looks considerably newer than its age.
What impressed me most was the combination of quality workmanship, attention to detail, honest recommendations and personal customer service. Total Recon treated the project as though the car mattered to them, not simply as another vehicle moving through the shop.

I visited Total Recon initially to have some upholstery work performed on my Cadillac CTS. I was very impressed with the shop, the owner and the attitude of the employees. You could tell these were people who appreciated cars for the beautiful machines they are. After my estimate for the upholstery work (very reasonable), I thought I would try them for brakes, as well. I was fed up with the original squeaky brake pads and the owner advised that they could fix that problem. So I let him. I was very pleased with the upholstery work (improving seat comfort) and the brakes work great and don't squeak. They took good care of my car and performed quality work. Great place!
